1. June 2005 - Present: Grain Trader

Al Ghurair Group ( Gulf import and export Co, National flour mills co & Al Ghurair foods co. )

·         Carryout trading of agri commodities in predefined markets (as per the annual business plans)and procure company plant’s by various Raw Materials required  by wheat and for the Group’s overseas operations in Sudan, Algeria,  Lebanon and trading in OMAN, YEMEN, TANZANIA and QATAR

·         Coordinate with clients, prepare Costing Sheets and Tender Documents for assigned commodities, assist superior in negotiation of terms & conditions of tender, and arrange for the procurement, execution and payment as per contract

·         Follow up with the Shipping Officer on the Bulk Freight Market (mostly Panamax , Handy size vessels and small cargos also ) for the Freight requirement for Procurement, Trading and Tender Businesses

·         Manage Data Base for the Procurement, Trading / Tender positions, Prices replacements, Shipment positions etc., to be used in the future as reference for Business Decision Maker file

·         Traveling overseas discovering our objective countries & Prepare market studies for new consumers and compotation in this countries

·         prepare and propose costing of commodities to ensure competitive pricing of offers and tenders, Contract & Offers: Giving offers to the customer on regular basis and convincing them to buy, giving the trends of the market.

·         Mange Trade room operation for future trade in commodities(Wheat, corn, soybean and soyoil) and Follow up with the Shipping Officer on the Bulk Freight Market (mostly Panamax ,  Handy size vessels) for the Freight requirement to prepare freight paper

·         Work with customers margins and provide market info. Help them Handling the future desk for the company in future trade and hedging positions

·         The office environment can be, at time, hectic as market information is shared verbally among that traders- also make daily & weekly reports or grain market in CBOT - KCBOT & MGE
